Matthew 25:35-36

For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and your gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.

Kick For Christ Expands Its Mission to Haiti

Kick For Christ recently partnered with two remarkable Haitian organizations—Sante Haiti and Soude Haiti—to extend our outreach beyond soccer and into health and education.

  • Sante Haiti, led by Dr. Jonathan Phillippe, provides free health screenings and medications to those who cannot otherwise afford care. In April, Dr. Phillippe joined Kick For Christ in Liberia, offering checkups and medicine to children and adults in orphanages and schools.

  • In May, Kick For Christ reciprocated the visit, traveling to Haiti alongside Soude Haiti, an organization led by Mackley Altema that empowers local communities to become self-sufficient through education and agriculture.

A Volunteer’s Perspective

“This was my third trip to Haiti, but my first with Kick For Christ,” shares Abigail Robichaud (pictured bottom left).
“We traveled eight hours north from Port-au-Prince to a small mountain village in Jean Rabel, Fond Poux. While families received medical care through Sante Haiti’s clinic, our team played soccer with local children, shared about Jesus, and even taught fun games like the Hokie Pokie.
I’m reminded every time I visit Haiti that love and friendship don’t require a shared language—laughter, hand motions, and smiles speak louder than words. This trip is one I will cherish forever.”

As we prepare for our next mission to Liberia in mid-October, we are deeply grateful for every prayer, donation, and volunteer who made these trips possible. May God bless you abundantly, so that you may continue to be a blessing to others.
